What we already checked to give you this price 5 checks
  • Size within production range — width from 25 to 310 mm and length from 25 to 999 mm, which is what our presses accept.
  • Minimum quantity for your size — the system calculates it for each size; it isn't a fixed number.
  • Material compatibility with the finish — for example, Ultra-Adhesive doesn't take hot foil stamping or UV varnish: both processes use heat and its heavy adhesive coating softens.
  • Die-cutting included in the price — it isn't charged separately and doesn't show up as a surprise later.
  • Unwind direction defined — so the label feeds into your applicator in the right position.

ISO 9001 certified. If your project needs an additional technical review, we do it before producing, and before running your full order we send you a photo of your label already printed on the press.

A custom label is priced per thousand, and its price depends on four things: size, material, lamination or finish, and quantity. At Garín we make custom self-adhesive labels with digital printing, no plates and no start-up cost, which makes short runs from 2,000 labels possible. Every self-adhesive label is delivered on rolls, with die-cutting included and the unwind direction your applicator needs.

* Prices shown are starting prices and may vary by material, quality, size and order quantity.

The price per thousand drops as the run grows, because the fixed costs of file preparation, color calibration and press start-up are spread over more pieces. Changing the size also moves the price: a larger label uses more material per piece. To know your exact price, set your real size and quantity in the quote tool.

Frequently Asked Questions about Custom Labels and Their Prices

Digital labels (also known as adhesive labels, custom stickers, self-adhesive decals or simply labels) are self-adhesive labels printed with latest-generation digital printing technology, which allows short runs with no plates or fixed dies, photographic quality and the option of mixing designs in the same run. Unlike flexographic printing, digital printing needs no up-front investment in tooling, which makes it right for companies that need few pieces or multiple versions. Below we answer our customers' most common questions.

Sizes, minimums and volume 9

The minimum order depends on your label's size and the quote tool shows it as you go: it ranges from 2,000 to 15,000 labels. Beyond that, the standard minimum is 1,000 labels per design. Digital printing allows short runs with no plate or fixed-die cost, and you can mix designs in the same run as long as they share material and size, respecting that 1,000-per-design minimum.
Our minimum order ranges from 2,000 to 15,000 labels depending on the label's size. Thanks to digital printing there are no fixed plate or die costs, which makes short runs viable without raising the unit price. It's recommended for emerging brands, limited editions, seasonal products or market tests. Get a quote online and see your price instantly.
Yes. Digital printing allows short runs with no plates or fixed dies: the minimum order ranges from 2,000 to 15,000 labels depending on the size, and you can mix designs of the same material and size with a minimum of 1,000 labels per design. It's a frequent service among entrepreneurs and small businesses looking for custom labels for a business that's just starting: candles, honey, coffee, craft beer, jams, sauces, handmade soaps and any own-brand product that starts with short runs.
Yes, we print labels with barcodes and QR codes. Per the standard, the recommended minimum barcode size is 29.83 mm wide by 20.73 mm tall. For QR codes, the optimal minimum size is 20 × 20 mm. Smaller sizes may compromise scanning and are the customer's responsibility.
Yes. You can combine multiple designs in the same production run as long as they share material and size, with a minimum of 1,000 labels per design. Recommended for brands with several presentations or limited editions.
Yes. We offer numbering with QR codes, barcodes, sequential numbering and custom databases from Excel. The minimum size across the web is 25 mm for complex numbering and 50 mm for simple numbering. Send your database in Excel format.
Yes. Die-cut labels are cut with a digital die at no tooling cost: circles, ovals, rectangles with rounded corners and shapes fitted to your container. Because the cutting is digital, you can change the shape between orders with no additional investment.
Yes. With digital die-cutting we cut round, oval, square and rounded-corner rectangular labels, plus shapes fitted to your container, at no tooling cost. The range runs from 25 to 310 mm wide and 25 to 999 mm long; the most requested sizes are 50 mm rounds for jars and 100 × 50 mm rectangles for containers and boxes.
Yes. The online quote tool calculates run by run up to 50,000 labels and already applies volume-savings tiers. For wholesale labels in runs above 50,000, contract printing for print shops and agencies, or recurring supply programs, there are wholesale prices put together with technical review: request them from the custom quote form and a specialist replies in under 2 business hours.

Materials and finishes 14

White BOPP (High Industrial Resistance) is the recommended option: it withstands moisture, extreme cold and condensation without peeling off.
Yes. Our Ultra-Adhesive synthetic material has a heavy-coat permanent adhesive for tires, rubber, porous and rough surfaces. Excellent, immediate bond strength. It takes lamination only (no hot foil stamping or UV varnish). Get a quote directly in our quote tool.
Coated paper is the most economical option, recommended for labeling dry, flat surfaces such as boxes and logistics packaging. BOPP (plastic) is resistant to water, oil, moisture and freezing, recommended for refrigerated foods, beverages, cosmetics and chemical products. If your product will be exposed to moisture or frequent handling, BOPP is the recommended option.
Yes. In Mexico they're called "etiquetas autoadheribles" or "etiquetas adheribles"; elsewhere, self-adhesive or adhesive labels, and in the industry, pressure-sensitive labels. Every label in the quote tool is self-adhesive: paper or film with permanent adhesive on a siliconized liner, ready to apply by hand or with an automatic applicator.
Yes. Four of our eight materials are plastic labels: White BOPP, Clear BOPP, Metallized BOPP and Holographic BOPP. BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) is a plastic film resistant to water, oil, moisture and cold; it's what people usually call "plastic labels" or "laminated plastic labels", and it's the option for labels on plastic and glass containers, bottles, cosmetics, refrigerated and frozen goods. If you prefer protected paper, any material can be laminated in matte or gloss.
Yes. Clear BOPP gives the "no-label" look on glass and PET: you see the container and only your design shows. As a reference, a 100 × 50 mm clear label in a run of 5,000 costs from $911.73 MXN per thousand, die-cutting included and before VAT. If your design has white areas, it's printed with a white underprint (see the question about white underprint).
Yes. Holographic BOPP adds a diffraction effect that works as a visual security and authenticity element: it's the option for pharmaceutical, technology and promotional products. Reference: 100 × 50 mm in a run of 5,000 from $1,716.19 MXN per thousand. For numbered security holograms or VOID labels that leave evidence when peeled, see our holographic security label and VOID label pages at garinetiquetas.com: they aren't quoted in this tool; a specialist quotes them.
Matte lamination removes glare and gives a sober, elegant finish, preferred for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals and high-end products. Gloss lamination intensifies colors and gives maximum visual impact, recommended for mass-market products that need to stand out on the shelf. Both protect the print against scratches, moisture and handling.
Digital printing needs no plates or fixed dies, which allows short runs (from 2,000 labels), multiple designs in the same run and quick changes at no extra cost. Flexography is more convenient for very high volumes (above 50,000 labels) but requires an up-front investment in tooling. Our quote tool calculates prices for digital printing. For high-volume projects, request a custom quote.
Yes. Our White BOPP labels are waterproof and withstand water, oil, condensation and freezing temperatures. They're designed not to peel or fade in those conditions; if your container or your process is special, we confirm it before producing. Recommended for refrigerated foods, beverages, chemical products and any application exposed to moisture. Get a quote directly in our tool by selecting White BOPP as the material.
A white underprint is a layer of white ink printed under your design on clear or metallized materials. It's needed so colors look right on these substrates. Where it's required must be indicated in the vector file.
We don't work with vinyl as such, but BOPP (biaxially oriented polypropylene) is the industrial equivalent of vinyl for labels: resistant to water, oil, moisture and temperature, and it delivers what most people look for in a "vinyl" label. Tell us where you'll apply it and what it will be exposed to and we'll confirm it's the right option. It's the preferred material in applications that call for a "vinyl" label for products, containers and surfaces that need high resistance. Yes. Our label papers (coated and textured) are FSC® certified, which guarantees they come from responsibly managed forests. Ask your account executive for the right option for your project.
Yes. We have digital embellishment equipment that applies metallic foil, raised UV varnish and tactile 3D texture in a single pass.

Price, tiers and payment 10

The price of custom self-adhesive labels depends on size, material, lamination and quantity. As a reference, a 100 × 50 mm label in a run of 5,000 costs from $750.84 MXN per thousand in semi-gloss coated paper and up to $1,716.19 MXN per thousand in holographic BOPP, die-cutting included and before VAT. The minimum order ranges from 2,000 to 15,000 labels depending on the size. Use the quote tool to get your exact price instantly.
One thousand 100 × 50 mm self-adhesive labels cost from $750.84 MXN in semi-gloss coated paper, the most economical material. In white BOPP a thousand costs $831.28 MXN, and in premium materials such as textured or holographic it ranges from $1,072.62 to $1,716.19 MXN per thousand. Prices include die-cutting and are before VAT.
Semi-gloss coated paper is the most economical material, from $750.84 MXN per thousand. It's standard adhesive paper, recommended for logistics, corrugated boxes and dry packaging. It isn't recommended when the label will be exposed to moisture, refrigeration or frequent handling: in those cases white BOPP costs a little more and avoids replacements.
There are three levers. Increasing the run spreads the fixed preparation and start-up costs over more pieces. Adjusting the size reduces material use per label. And choosing the material by the product's real use, without paying for resistance you won't need. If you're unsure which is best, our technical team guides you at no cost.
Yes. All prices in the quote tool include die-cutting, because the cutting is digital and needs no physical tooling. You can change your label's shape between orders with no additional investment. Prices shown are before VAT.
Prices shown in the quote tool are before VAT. VAT is added to the total in the formal quote you receive by email.
Yes. Garín Etiquetas S.A. de C.V. invoices every order. When you confirm your quote, your assigned account executive asks for your tax details and issues the CFDI (Mexican electronic invoice). The only limit is that invoices aren't issued for amounts under $250 MXN before VAT, far below any order from the quote tool.
The standard condition is payment in full (100%) before production is scheduled, and it applies equally to new and repeat customers, regardless of the order amount or previous purchases. Credit is the exception: it's requested, evaluated and, if approved, operates with a contract and promissory note, normally at 15 or 30 days. Your account executive confirms the bank transfer details when the order is closed.
The quote is valid for 15 calendar days from issue. Within that period, the price per thousand is honored exactly as you saw it in the quote tool. Amounts are before 16% VAT and don't include shipping.
As across the printing industry, there can be a variation of up to ±10% between the quantity ordered and the quantity delivered. The quantity actually delivered is what's invoiced, not the quantity ordered. If your process requires a guaranteed minimum quantity, mention it to your account executive when quoting so the run can be adjusted.

Delivery and working with Garín 12

Standard production time is 7 to 9 business days for digital labels. The count starts when the three requirements are met —your purchase order, the down payment made (or your credit released) and artwork sign-off with the approved print card—; if the last of the three arrives after 11:00 a.m., on a weekend or on a holiday, day 1 is the next business day. Carrier transit is added to that, and if you pick up at a branch, the transfer days: one to Querétaro and Puebla, two to Guadalajara. There are no transfer days at the Tultitlán plant. If you need your labels sooner, there's the Garín Express service.
Our labels are delivered on rolls: custom roll labels, printed and ready for the applicator, the standard format for production lines with automatic and semi-automatic applicators. If you need a different format (sheets or individually cut) for hand application, say so when requesting your custom quote and our team assesses feasibility.
The online quote tool gives you your real price instantly, without waiting for anyone. If you send your contact details, you receive the formal quote by email and WhatsApp in under 1 minute. For special projects that need technical review (RFQ), a specialist contacts you in under 2 business hours, Monday to Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Central Time, Mexico).
Yes. A digital sample costs from $2,000 MXN in coated paper and BOPP. In wine paper, polyester, clear BOPP, metallized BOPP and tire synthetic the cost is $3,000 MXN per material, and it goes up if the label carries embellishment. If you place your order within the following 30 days, 50% of the sample cost is refunded. Sample shipping has a flat cost of $250 MXN to anywhere in Mexico. When material is available in stock, the sample may go out at no cost: confirm with your account executive before requesting it.

Yes. Shipping is included, at no cost, on orders above $2,500 MXN before VAT delivered in Mexico City, Puebla, Querétaro and Guadalajara. In those same cities, orders below that amount carry a $300 MXN charge. Outside those four cities shipping is quoted by destination and weight. In every case it appears as a separate line in your quote, never inside the price per thousand.
Claims are accepted for manufacturing defects and must be reported in writing within 15 calendar days of delivery. Returns don't apply for errors in artwork you already approved: that's why production doesn't start without your print card approved in writing, and before running the full order we send you the photo of the label already mounted on the press.
Yes. With the Garín Express service we produce in roughly half the standard time: 4 to 5 business days for digital labels, versus the normal 7 to 9. It carries a surcharge that depends on the order amount and is quoted with your account executive. It doesn't apply to all materials or to orders with special finishes or a new die, so it's best to confirm before closing.

Files, artwork and standards 6

We accept vector files in Adobe Illustrator (.ai), PDF and EPS with text converted to outlines and embedded images, and also high-resolution JPG, PNG, PSD or TIFF images: minimum 300 dpi at the label's actual size. CMYK color mode. Barcodes and QR codes must be sent as vectors (not as images). The file must be at the label's actual size plus 2 mm of bleed.
Yes. We print labels for the food industry with the elements required by Mexico's NOM-051 (warning seals, nutrition table, consumer information) and for the chemical industry in the GHS format (hazard pictograms, H and P statements). Your compliance team defines the regulatory content; we check that the artwork respects it and print it on the right material. For projects with specific regulatory requirements, request a custom quote and our team advises you.
In Mexico the terms sticker, label, adhesive label and decal are used interchangeably for the same product: a printed piece with adhesive applied to a container, package or surface. At Garín we make self-adhesive (pressure-sensitive) labels in industrial materials such as BOPP, coated paper, polyester and textured paper, both for production-line use and for hand application.
Yes. The quote tool calculates the price from size, material, lamination, finish and quantity: it doesn't need your file to give you the figure. Uploading your design is optional and only serves to see it applied in the preview. The print file is requested later, when you confirm the order, and we accept PDF, AI, EPS and SVG with outlined text, or high-resolution JPG and PNG (minimum 300 dpi); if you need help with the artwork, our prepress team advises you.
Before production you approve the print card, which carries the order's colors and is the reference the job is printed against. As in all printing, there's a normal process variation compared with what you see on your screen, which isn't calibrated. If your brand depends on an exact color, there's also the color standard: a physical reference made before production —when the material allows it— that you authorize; production isn't released until you do. Mention it to your account executive when quoting, because it doesn't apply to all materials.
Yes, and there are two approvals from you. The first is the print card: the print proof that gathers the order's specifications —size, colors, material, finishes, cut type, labels per roll and packaging— and that you approve in writing. Production doesn't start without that sign-off, and the lead time starts counting from there. The second is when the job is mounted on the press: we send you a photo of your label already printed, exactly as it's coming out, for your sign-off before running the full order. Neither step has a cost.
